Built in 1921 as a log teahouse, this spot 15 minutes (on foot) from the shores of Lake Louise, has always been a popular destination. Guest rooms were added in 1925, and the frequent renovations since then have preserved most of the original rustic charm of the stone-and-log architecture. Feather comforters and teahouse-era antiques decorate the rooms; the older rooms are small but bright with the most historic charm. Relax around the central fireplace, with a book in one of the hotel's many nooks and crannies, or in the rooftop hot tub, complete with stunning mountain views. Rates decrease off-season.
