Friends of Jasper National Park

Fodor's Review:

This nonprofit organization offers courses on discovering Jasper through guided hikes, nature photography, and wildlife viewing. Local experts lead the sessions at very reasonable prices. Courses also include discount accommodations and meals at the Jasper Palisades Centre, a park facility usually reserved for visiting park wardens and professors. The Friends also loan out free hiking kits with binoculars, maps, first-aid materials, and other useful items. Kits can be picked up at the Friends store in the information center.
