Fodor's Review:

Views during the steep eight-minute ride to and from the 7,500-foot summit are spectacular. From the upper gondola terminal you can hike the short distance to the summit of Sanson Peak and perhaps catch sight of grazing bighorn sheep, or visit the gift shop or the reasonably priced restaurant. The gondola is south from the center of Banff; you can catch a public Banff transit bus.

A beautiful view of glaciers. I would not recommend this ride for those who don't like heights and the feeling of being in a very small gondola.
