Fodor's Review:
Nectar desperately wants to be a great small music venue, one that upholds Fremont's artsier ideals. During the week it's a chill place for locals to grab some happy-hour drinks and snacks or listen to live music (usually world music and funk, but the bill varies greatly). On weekends, particularly Saturday night, it gets hit with a lot of spillover from the fratty bars down the street.
