One of the region's most beautiful cemeteries looks east toward Lake Washington from its elevated hillside directly north of Volunteer Park. Bruce Lee's grave and that of his son Brandon are the most visited sites. Several of Seattle's founding families are also interred here (their bodies were moved from a pioneer cemetery when Denny Hill was leveled to make room for the motels, car dealerships, and parking lots of the Denny Regrade south of Lake Union). Ask for a map at the cemetery office.
