Queen Anne is divided into two parts. Lower Queen Anne stretches from the Seattle Center up to roughly Galer Street, with its main commercial district centered around Queen Anne Avenue. Still rather mixed, Lower Queen Anne hasn't yet become a ghetto of luxury condos. Upper Queen Anne starts roughly at Galer Street and stretches all the way to Nickerson Street by the ship canal. Upper Queen Anne has elegant upscale houses and fashionable restaurants and shops. There's a lot of money in this neighborhood, and unfortunately, sometimes a lot of attitude to go with it.
