This might be the cheapest Thai restaurant in town, but rock-bottom prices aren't the only reason this place is always packed -- the food is delicious, authentic, and spicy (two stars is usually pretty hot). The garlic chicken is one of the chef's favorite dishes, so it's not surprising that it rates high among the customers. Pad thai is rich and flavorful instead of oily. Tables can be hard to come by during the dinner rush, but there's usually space at the counter that lines the open kitchen.

My husband and I tried this place because of all the almost empty restaurants on University avenue one day this little hole in the wall had a line outside. The smoke from the grill was rolling out the open front door and the aroma was fantastic. We just had to find out what this was all about. The food was all cooked on an open grill in the center of the restaurant, upbeat music and excellent service, cashual and fun. Our favorite is the spinach salad with peanut dressing and cashew chicken, we share, get full and the bills less that $15.RATING: 4.6
