On one side, Capitol Hill is an incredibly young and hip neighborhood, full of artists, musicians, hipsters, and students (Seattle University, Central Seattle Community College, and Cornish College of the Arts are all in the neighborhood). Broadway caters to students with cheap restaurants and clothing shops. Pike and Pine streets, which parallel each other, make up the Pike-Pine corridor, which has many cool boutiques, cafés, and nightspots. On the other side, it's an elegant and pretty neighborhood, with tree-lined streets, 19th-century mansions, and Frederick Law Olmsted's Volunteer Park, where you'll find the Asian Art Museum.
