This turn-of-the-20th-century Tudor-style inn, once the home of William Seward and Lila Vanderbilt Webb, overlooks Lake Champlain, the distant Adirondacks, and the sea of pastures that make up this 1,400-acre working farm. Each room is different, from the wallpaper to the period antiques. The dining room ($$-$$$$) defines elegance, and Sunday brunch (not served in May) is one of the area's best. Breakfast is served Monday-Saturday.
