$$-$$$$, Contemporary, Hilton Head Island
Fodor's Review:
Velvet drapes, dramatic chandeliers, and '40s lounge-style entertainment -- on top of good, reasonably priced food served late -- make this an in place. It's a refreshingly quirky joint on an island that is more luxe than funky and the menu is equally eclectic: appetizers include sweet-potato and lobster cakes or shrimp and pork spring rolls; entrées are wood-fired pizzas, roasted veggie sandwiches, and veal meat loaf. The wine list has a good range and pricing.
