A shipping warehouse dating from the early 1900s, this building's architectural details have been emphasized by leaving brick walls exposed and designing around the grand, heart-pine beams and wood ceilings. Oil paintings of hunting dogs hang above clubby leather chairs and sofas. Guests enjoy evening wine and cheese on a rooftop terrace while they watch the ships sail past.

A bit noisy but very nice atmosphere.

Nice room, lobby and breakfast room. Our bathroom was a little past its prime and a little dirty in the corners. Generally, a good location just past tourist area. The morning breakfast and afternoon wine & cheese are great. Get a 3rd floor room. We had a second floor room and heard every footstep of the people above. Also heard shouting when the bars got out and when dock workers arrived @ nearby grocery store. We received a substantially discounted rate (offered on inn's website at last minute)so the value was very high, otherwise a bit expensive.
