Hotels Overview
Hotel and motel chains in New England provide standard rooms and amenities in major cities and at or near traditional vacation destinations. At small inns, where each room is different and amenities vary in number and quality, price isn't always a reliable indicator; fortunately, when you call to make reservations, most hosts will be happy to give all manner of details about their properties, down to the color scheme of the handmade quilts. The major chain hotels are represented in Providence, but the many smaller bed-and-breakfasts and other inns offer a more down-home experience.
