$$-$$$$, Eclectic, Old City
Fodor's Review:
This former post office has been transformed into a stylish restaurant presided over by a 10-foot-tall gilded Buddha who seems to approve of the sake cocktails and the fusion food that pairs Asian ingredients with various cooking styles. Such relatively familiar dishes as chicken with cashews and tempura lump crab are passable, but most of the appeal is in the theatrical decor and the people-watching. A long "community table" provides an opportunity to dine with anyone else fortunate enough to snag this center-stage space. Be prepared for major din as the evening wears on.
