An elegant marble lobby welcomes you to this landmark 1929 Renaissance-style hotel. The pleasant and bright guest rooms are decorated in beige and white. There's also the Plaza Club Level, which pampers you with complimentary hors d'oeuvres and drinks every evening. All rooms have spacious desks, high-speed Internet connections, and free newspapers delivered to the door. The hotel is around the corner from Rittenhouse Square and Walnut Street.

The Rittenhouse Square Grande Dame Has Still Got It!

We stayed at the Warwick over the weekend while staying in Philadelphia at the end of February. The staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful, and the hotel is centrally located ~ it is right next to Rittenhouse Square, known for its shopping and beautiful architecture. They are undergoing a remodel right now so it would be best to hold off until its completion. They are remodeling the lobby currently, and it is one of the draws of the hotel. I have visited the lobby on pervious trips to Philly and loved it; I can only imagine how much better it will be once they have completed the remodel. We stayed in a remodeled room; they now feature the Sleep Number bed in all of their rooms. I'm not sure how much I liked the Sleep Number bed, but the room itself was very nice. The staff was wonderful and helpful in every way. We really enjoyed our stay at the Warwick. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.RATING: 4.6
