From City Hall the Benjamin Franklin Parkway stretches northwest to a Greco-Roman temple on a hill -- the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The parkway is the city's Champs-Elysées, a grand boulevard designed by French architects and alive with flowers, trees, and fountains. Along the way are many of the city's finest cultural institutions: the Academy of Natural Sciences, the Franklin Institute, and the Rodin Museum.
