Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe

$-$$$, American, OSU area

User Rating: *** 3.0

Fodor's Review:

Like a Hard Rock Cafe for fans who bleed scarlet-and-gray, this shrine to past OSU greats preserves Buckeye paraphernalia, photos, memorabilia, and trophies. À la Hollywood, there are even stars on the floor with the names of great former Buckeyes. Big screen TVs in the Arena Room keep you focused on the game while you nosh on burgers and wings. More upscale dining selections such as prime rib and filet mignon are on the menu in the Trophy Room.

Pass if you're not a sports fan

My husband and I stopped in here a couple of years before we actually moved to Columbus. It was a weekend evening and the place was the least crowded of the restaurants in the area. I would rank the food and ambience on the level of an Applebees or Damons. If you're into that and lots of sports stuff, this is for you.
