¢, Deli, Upper West Side
Fodor's Review:
From the look of it, you'd think you were in an old-time Jewish deli, but Artie's opened in 1999. The pastrami is moist, and appropriately fatty, and the pickles, coleslaw, and homemade beef hot dogs are all worth trying. The shocker: the staff is actually friendly and accommodating, unlike most joints of this kind, and it's actually comfortable -- again unusual for a New York deli.
