Fodor's Review:
A name change and major renovation have modernized this sky-high tower near the United Nations. Rooms, which begin on the 28th floor, have breathtaking views, make generous use of warm woods and neutral tones, and have an array of up-to-the-minute telecommunications gadgets. The multilingual staff caters to a discerning clientele that includes heads of state. The views also dazzle from the elegant 27th-floor pool and health club, and the rooftop tennis court attracts name players. Service throughout the hotel is first-rate, and the business center is open until 11 PM.
