Airports & Transfers

Albuquerque International Sunport is the nearest (130 mi) major airport to Taos. Taos Municipal Airport is 12 mi west of the city but ceased offering commercial service in 2005 and is just open to charters and private planes.

Faust's Transportation offers shuttle service between Albuquerque's airport and Taos, as well as to Taos Ski Valley, Angel Fire, and Red River. The cost is $40 to $50 per person, and the ride takes 2¾-3 hours.
