The giant Lego-like castle is still a popular pick for families -- child-oriented attractions are in the basement arcade and on the second floor above the casino -- but a makeover means it's starting to look more grown-up. The immense casino floor has lower table minimums than neighbors Luxor and Mandalay Bay, and the restaurants generally serve food more fit for an indentured servant than a king. The pool area was completely redesigned in 2007.

Not a Typical Vegas Hotel
Posted by Kmar from Minneapolis on 6/14/07
If you are coming with kids, then it's a great hotel to stay in. If not...steer clear! The rooms were clean, the service was good, the only problem were all the kids! Don't get me wrong, I like kids, but when you're trying to have fun in Vegas and there are many kids all around all the time, it gets a little old!

The ancient medieval days are a thing of the past

Rooms are large but the furniture, carpets are so worned out it's disgusting. The price is good and the location is too far considering the strip is more near Caesars area.
