Chef Nobu Matsuhisa has replicated the decor and menu of his Manhattan Nobu in this slick restaurant with bamboo pillars, a seaweed wall, and birch trees. Imaginative specialties include spicy sashimi, monkfish pâté with caviar, sea-urchin tempura, and scallops with spicy garlic. For dessert there's a warm chocolate soufflé.

Bizzare Behaviour

Made reservation through our consierge for 6:30. Upon arrival told for the first time that we had to vacate our table at 8:00. Having no other arrangements, we reluctantly stayed. Food was good but pricey. Noisy and waiters in great hurry to feed people and get them out of there.
At 8:00 sharp' while still eating, we were told to pay and leave. Our bill was produced in seconds and two buss boys cleaned our table immediately with great efficiency. I travel for years all over the world and never had this experience. Bizzare.
It was the definition of "Fast Food" at high prices.
Go where people love to see you. Avoid the arrogant frustration of the people at Nobu.
