$-$$, American, Paradise Road
Fodor's Review:
The Palo Alto import is popular with both singles and the power-lunch crowd. Glassed-off brewing kettles are the design centerpiece as well as the main attraction at the square center bar, which offers specialty brews such as Marzen and Hefeweizen. The menu offers up some fairly creative appetizers, including tamarind-marinated chicken skewers and crispy artichoke hearts tossed with Parmesan. Entrées include blackened mahimahi sandwich, wood-oven pizzas, pan-seared ahi tuna, and old-fashioned meatloaf with brown gravy.
