Lawry's The Prime Rib

$$-$$$$, American, Paradise Road

User Rating: ***** 4.8

Fodor's Review:

In a city famous for low-price prime-rib specials, Lawry's is a refined, art deco-style palace dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in the guise of slow-roasted, aged rib roasts. The dining room, with hardwood floors and plush banquettes, is staffed by waitresses in 1930s-style uniforms and by white-clad carvers, who roll gleaming domed silvery carts up to your table. Atlantic lobster tails and a daily fresh-fish entrée are quite good, too. The constant line of fancy cars outside the front door attests to Lawry's popularity with movers and shakers.

If you are into beef ..

I think Lawry's is a great value for the money especially if you enjoy beef. I have been going to Lawry's for years and one of the hidden secrets of this restaurant is that they always have a great seafood choice. This is one top Las Vegas restaurant where you can have a great meal for $ 50. Great value from their extensive wine list as well. I am sick of the fancy name restaurants in Vegas that continues to disappoint me at outrageous prices.
