$$-$$$$, Steak, Paradise Road
Fodor's Review:
A hip restaurant at the Rat Pack-inspired Renaissance Las Vegas, ENVY offers an updated take on the steak-house concept. The glamorous contemporary dining room is bathed in jewel tones, and the young and knowledgeable staff is quick to explain chef Richard Chamberlain's creative cuisine, or suggest wines from the 1,500-bottle repertoire. Among the starters, consider seared Kobe carpaccio or a bowl of the addictively good truffle-Reggiano french fries. Move on to the rib-eye steak with walnut-Stilton butter, or the "protein sampler" consisting of a petite filet, pork chop, and Angus beef sausage. Lunch and breakfast are served, too.
