$$-$$$$, Japanese, Wynn Las Vegas
Fodor's Review:
At the helm in this kitchen is James Beard Award-winning chef Takashi Yagihashi, a standout in both Japanese and contemporary French cuisine. The attractively designed restaurant, like most of the others at Wynn, is set away from the din of the casino. There are sake and sushi bars, as well as robatayaki (marinated skewers of meat, poultry, and seafood) and teppanyaki grills. A floating pagoda table has views of the lagoon, and many tables overlook the serene gardens. Yagihashi uses plenty of French flair in his specialties, which include baked sweet-sake black cod. For starters, take a caviar-tasting tour or try the red miso bouillabaisse.
