Arts Centers, Caesars Palace
Fodor's Review:
The $95 million theater was built in 2002, mainly to house more than 150 annual performances of Celine Dion's A New Day. Elton John later signed on to visit in two-week stretches, a more realistic formula for most entertainers than Dion's commitment of 150-plus shows a year. The Canadian diva stepped down at the end of 2007, and Bette Midler joined the rotation in 2008. The two balconies can seem distant from the ridiculously wide 120-foot stage, but a huge video screen improves the views and the sound system is impeccable.
