The first table wasn't to our liking and they readily changed it. OK food. Nothing spectacular...but worth the lingering if you can snare a table and watch the Bellagio fountain

Food and Service were outstanding! Highly recommend the Crock of Onion soup. Special of Prime Rib was fork tender! Only drawback to the atmosphere was an especially loud group of diners near our table. All in all I highly recommend, and will return.

We ate lunch there. The food is very good. I've had seafood crepes and my husband had chicken crepes. I tasted both and they very wonderful. The desert I was not so crasy about.

Lunch In The Sun

Had lunch on the sidewalk patio in the sun Feb. 11. Excellent service and to-die-for breads. Had the brie-chicken sandwich - very good, and an Ahi tuna sandwich - good but lacked flavor, with unique French Fries. Enjoyed a bottle of Louis Latour Chardonnay. Do not need reservations if there when they open at 11:30.

We've eaten at Mon Ami Gabi twice now: once in 2003 and again tonight (Dec. 26th, 2005). It reminds us of the French restaurants that we eat at when we're in Paris. We have never had a bad meal here nor have we experienced bad service. It's in a conveninent location as we stay next door at Ballys, the Paris Hotel's sister property so we don't need to walk outside nor walk far to get there. Tonight we began with starters of escargots Bourgignon which was snails with a pesto sauce, very tender and tasty and onion soup. The $29 bottle of French merlot was allright and we opted for a bottle as glasses come out more expensive. My son and I enjoyed their poulet roti avec frites (roast chicken with French fries). And my husband had salmon with a side of garlic spinach. The chicken was tender and moist with a slightly crisp skin and the flavorful salmon rested atop a bed of mashed potatoes. Service was fine and we notice that most if not all waiters are from France or at least fluent in French. Our waiter tonight was from France and was very attentive. The busboys were efficient and our meals arrived quickly. We were so full that we passed on dessert and coffee. As we left we noticed a huge line outside. We were glad that we made reservations (via phone only) a month ago. In short, Mon Ami Gabit is a great restaurant if you want to pretend that you're in Paris or if you want good, simple food at reasonable prices served by attentive staff.

Everytime to Las Vegas (several times per year) I make it a point to have lunch here. The crepes and quiche are excellent, as are the wine choices. Have introduced co-workers to this restaurant and they now include it for lunch.
