Taxis meet all scheduled ferries and flights, and there are taxi stands by the Flying Horses Carousel in Oak Bluffs, at the foot of Main Street in Edgartown, and by the steamship office in Vineyard Haven. Fares range from $6 within a town to $35 to $42 one-way from Vineyard Haven to Aquinnah.
Rates double between 1 AM and 7 AM. Note that limousine companies often provide service both on- and off-island.
