$$-$$$, Oak Bluffs
Fodor's Review:
This gingerbread Victorian-style inn built in the late '80s, decked with broad porches, sits right by the dock, steps from the ferry landing and downtown shops, restaurants, and bars. Kids are welcome, and they'll have plenty to do in town and at nearby beaches. Some rooms open onto building-length balconies. Pros: Close to everything, very kid-friendly, big porches. Cons: Front of inn right on street, busy location, lots of kids in summer.
