Fodor's Review:
The brick Aquinnah Lighthouse is stationed precariously atop the rapidly eroding cliffs. It's open to the public on summer weekends at sunset, weather permitting. Across from the lighthouse parking area, you'll see the historic Vanderhoop Homestead (www.vanderhoophomestead.org), a handsome 1880s house that's currently being restored. Plans are to turn the house into community cultural center and museum on Aquinnah's rich history.
