Cape Cod: Visitor Information

Visitor Information

Before you go, contact the state's office of tourism and the area's chambers of commerce for general information, seasonal events, and brochures. For specific information on Cape Cod's state forests and parks, the area's farmers' markets and fairs, or wildlife, contact the special-interest government offices below. You can also check Web sites on the Internet. When you arrive, stop by the local chamber of commerce for additional information -- each chamber is stocked with local brochures and produces a comprehensive annual guidebook on each town.

The Army Corps of Engineers has a 24-hour recreation hotline for canal-area events, weather, and tidal and fishing information.
