Fodor's Review:
This rambling 1863 farmhouse sits on more than an acre of peaceful landscape, slightly off the beaten trail but within close distance of local amenities. The outdoor fire pit is a great place to spend the cooler evenings outside, or relax in the hot tub. The rooms -- some in the main inn, some in the adjacent carriage house -- are furnished with quilts, Cape Cod art, and a mix of antiques and reproductions. The Falmouth Suite has an airy, private sunporch. All rooms have private baths, some with whirlpool tubs. A separate, tiny two-bedroom cottage rents by the day and by the week. Ask about planned special events that might include wine tastings, author talks, and artist workshops. Pros: Idyllic, retreatlike setting, perfect for those who want some quiet indulgence. Cons: Not an in-town location, must drive to beaches, restaurants, and other attractions.
