¢, Cafe, Barnstable
Fodor's Review:
Most people settle for takeout from this tiny sandwich shop, but the lucky few who manage to grab one of the three counter spots or two tables are in for an olfactory treat. Breakfast options include fresh muffins; "scrambled" eggs (they're actually steamed by the cappuccino machine); bagels; or burrito sandwiches stuffed with cheese, bacon, veggies, rice, beans, and sour cream. For lunch, try a wrap -- there are many tempting choices, from barbecued chicken to Mediterranean -- red pepper, hummus, tabbouleh, tomato, onion, and feta cheese folded up in a spinach tortilla.
