Sitting primly inside a dashing Gothic Victorian house on a side street off hectic Route 28, this gem with distant sea views cultivates a refined ambience with fresh flowers, white linens, and vibrant wall murals. Specialties from the ever-changing menu include crispy duck confit with Swiss chard, roasted beets, and a red-wine glaze; and grilled Atlantic salmon wrapped in prosciutto with melon, cucumbers, toasted Israeli couscous, and a wild-blackberry vinaigrette. Chef-owner Douglas Ramler (formerly of Boston's noted Hamersley's Bistro) relies on the freshest ingredients.

one of the most overrated restaraunts i've ever experienced. The service was sporadic at best and the vegetables were served cold...no kidding, COLD. the reason, according to the staff, was that the meals are cooked in group orders spanning many tables and thus some ,eals may be delivered to the table ahead of other meals.
This was the first time in my life that i've considered leaving a zero tip.
The manager tried to compensate and apologize by granting free deserts but we had had enough by mid-meal trying to deal with a rude staff member.
We left very unimpressed and actually offended by a lunatic server who ended the night with an obscene gesture.

This is our FAVORITE restaurant hands down! The food is always excellent. Doug uses fresh, local ingredients so the menu changes seasonally. His wife Jen is lovely and always a pleasure to speak to when we go. We had a different waiter/waitress each night and EACH were wonderful and very attentive. Would recommend Cape Sea Grille to anyone stepping foot on the cape!
