Fodor's Review:

Innkeepers Freddy and Ruth Riley provide plenty of little touches here: a guest fridge stocked with beverages (including wine and beer), beach chairs with umbrellas (perfect for nearby Sandy Neck Beach), and an always-full cookie jar. Additional indulgences include the self-serve liquor and cordial trays in the parlor. Guests are often seen carrying their evening cocktails to the gazebo for a game of cards. The airy, country-style guest rooms in this 1810 Queen Anne-style cottage have lots of white wicker, featherbeds, checked curtains, and pastel-painted floors. The spacious 2nd-floor Wisteria Room overlooking the lush yard is a particularly comfortable retreat, and the screened-in porch is a peaceful place to sip early-morning coffee. Pros: Gracious and generous innkeepers, lush gardens on the grounds, tasteful, large rooms, very short drive to Sandy Neck Beach. Cons: Most rooms are accessed via steep stairs.
