Lighthouse Restaurant

$-$$$, American, Wellfleet

User Rating: **** 4.1

Fodor's Review:

A line snakes out the door of this simple wood-frame house on summer mornings for classic bacon-and-egg breakfasts and tasty blueberry pancakes. Try a plate of steamers and a beer for lunch and perhaps chowder, cod fritters, lemon-butter scallops, and another beer for dinner -- but keep in mind that it's as much about the value and the people-watching here as the food itself. Mexican fare, margaritas, and Dos Equis beer are served on Thursday. There's a large deck, and downstairs you can order coffees, gelato, and lighter fare from the Lighthouse To-Go-Shoppe.

Just came back from Cape Cod where we stayed in Wellfleet out on the outer Cape. We were near the little town and speant nearly every morning at the Lighthouse restaurant for Breakfast. A great spot to start your day. lot's of light and wood make it a refreshing break from NYC. If you get a chance check it out i highly recomend it.
