Fodor's Review:
If you order anything local here from the long list of tried-and-true American standbys, you won't go wrong. The fish is as fresh and good as you get on Cape Cod, and the kitchen continues to innovate while still remaining true to its Cape roots. The calamari is always tender, the New England smoked fish plate delicious, and the clam chowder is a must. Expect a long wait in season, in which case you can visit the bar and pick up on the local gossip.

We have lunch twice a month at the Squire. The lobster bisque is exceptional, fried oysters marvelous, steak sandwich the best anywhere and the fish sandwich the bargain on the menu. For fun, the pate is great! and the Ceasar salad beyond wonderful. Go early as this terrific place fills up fast on the weekends. Great for foodies and fast service. (Nice wines also.)RATING: 4.8

On more than one occasion the food quality did not meet our expectations nor was it worth the price. Also they are not accomodating for families with young children (they only had a limited set of booster chairs and it wasn't busy). On the positive side, the bar is great and the local bands are excellentRATING: 3.0
