The big draw at this dapper restaurant with dark-wood-paneled walls and soft lighting is the extensive list of weekly changing specials, which truly show off the kitchen's estimable talents. You'll always find several raw and "dressed" oyster dishes (such as barbecue oysters on the half shell with blue cheese, caramelized onions, and bacon) plus a nice range of salads and appetizers. Among the main dishes, consider the superb sliced duck breast with a port-wine and Rainier cherry sauce, or the sautéed shrimp in a piquant Thai peanut-cashew sauce over noodles. The oyster stew is also out of this world.

Busy even in the offseason, and for good reason.

This restaurant does a fantastic job with seafood preparation and presentation that was particularly impressive for a location such as the Cape. Their wine list is both impressive and unique. Our server was attentive and also interested in feedback. The only negative impressions we left with were: 1. their pamphlet was not updated to tell us that they are not open on Sundays in the off season (and so we had to come back another day) and 2. their website is not well updated (specifically one of the dishes I had hoped to get was a "special" despite being pictured enticingly on their website). Despite these flaws, the experience was still quite good.
