$$-$$$, Orleans
Fodor's Review:
Consisting of two main buildings overlooking Orleans Town Cove, this tidy but prosaic year-round motel has large rooms, most with decks or patios overlooking the water. Furnishings are undistinguished but updated and pleasant, and rooms have tasteful, neutral color schemes. Some units have fireplaces and kitchens, and two-room suites can comfortably accommodate four guests. An attractive picnic area overlooks the heated pool. You can't beat the location, and in summer you'll receive a complimentary boat tour around Town Cove. Pros: Many water-view rooms, right on Town Cove, easy walk throughout town. Cons: Sits right on semi-busy road, not for those looking for authentic historic lodging.
