Overlooking Nantucket Sound, this noisy but superb restaurant has views to match the spectacular food and service. For dinner, try apple mustard-glazed Atlantic salmon with creamy cheddar grits, followed by caramelized sugar-encrusted vanilla-bean crème brûlée. Chef Anthony Silvestri changes the menu seasonally. There are plenty of decadent options to chose from. Half-plates are available for many entrées, ideal for smaller appetites or sharing.

We made a reservation and had a lovely dinner with a view of the ocean: very romantic. The food was wonderful, but we had been spoiled with fantastic raw oysters at the Oyster Company Raw Bar (closer to Rte 28 but also on Depot St.) so our food experience, while more expensive at the Ocean House, didn't quite compare. Service was very attentive and unobtrusive but our server was not very knowledgable about the wine list. While the view is fabulous and I have no regrets, we spent 1/2 as much for a better meal at the Oyster Company.
