$-$$, Truro
Fodor's Review:
The true appeal of this tan-clapboard roadside motel is its noble perch on a westward bluff, looking out over Cape Cod Bay sunsets and the distant lights of Provincetown. Deluxe rooms have private balconies, as well as fully equipped kitchenettes and a king bed or two doubles. The style inside can't compete with the vistas outside, but the rooms are clean, simple, reasonably priced, and a 10-minute drive to Provincetown. Free coffee and doughnuts are provided in the morning. Pros: Inexpensive rooms, nice harbor views from the bluff-top location, some units have kitchenettes. Cons: Simple but prosaic room decor, few restaurants or shops within walking distance, feels a bit dated.
