Despite its unpromising location in a shopping plaza, this smart-casual Mediterranean bistro has built a local following for its pizzas, pastas, salads, panini sandwiches, and Middle Eastern fare. Some may find the food more Americanized than authentic, but it's tasty nonetheless. There's something for everyone here -- you could bring the kids, or your grandparents, or a group of pals, and it's a good choice for vegetarians, too. As testament to its popularity, additional locations have sprouted on Hyannis's Main Street and in Yarmouth.

Trendy, Fun, Delicious

We enjoyed everything about Ardeo. The staff were great, with prompt service, and pointed out the enticing nightly specials (1/2 price bottle of wine on thursdays with two entrees-at least when we went). The atmosphere was trendy without being loud or "extreme". The presentations were aesthetically pleasing, again without being overdone.

Absolutely outstanding! The food was so good tasting and affordable, you didn't want to stop! We tried both resturants and loved them both. Excellent portions, great service and a friendly family atmosphere. The owers made our visit a very special one. Although we were visiting from FL, they made us feel like locals.

Ardeo has something for everyone

We have 5 kids with finicky tastes. We found something for each kid from their great kids meal although they could have filled up on the freshly baked loaves of bread served with oil and cheese. Our personal favorite, for the adults, was the Chicken Picatta. I highly recommend it. The kids on the cape book included a coupon for a free kids meal with every adult meal so two of the kids ate free!
