Fodor's Review:
. The neighborhood is a little dicey, being the stomping grounds for the city's goth and punk kids, but it's safe and pretty appealing if you want to escape the sometimes stiff downtown scene. European travelers love the hotel for its cozy, residential feel (it's a mostly suites property and two-thirds of rooms have separate sitting areas and pull-out couches). Its proximity to the El train is both a blessing and a curse; you'll have easy access to downtown and the North Side, but the rumbling noise into the wee hours might not make for the most restful night. Amenities include complimentary Continental breakfast, afternoon cookies, free wireless Internet access, luxury robes, and access to a health club nearby.
