Fodor's Review:

The Shriner greeting "Es Salamu Aleikum" ("Peace Be To God") that's etched on foyer columns and the marble lions throughout remind us of the building's past as the Medinah Health Club, a private men's club. Lodging is found in two adjoining buildings. We love the contemporary air of the main building's guest rooms, featuring mahogany furniture and rich red-and-gold fabrics. The historic tower rooms, however, are more matronly, with floral bedspreads and russet colors. The pinnacle of the whole place is the junior Olympic swimming pool, and a newly renovated fitness center. And be sure to check out Eno, a wine, cheese, and chocolate bar that opened in 2007.
