Fodor's Review:

There's a woodland-lodge feel in this hotel's lobby, where oil paintings of hunting dogs and horses hang in gilt frames. The old-world-style rooms, many with four-poster beds, include modern luxuries such as Anichini bedding, marble bathrooms, and broadband. Fornetto Mei is a Pan-Italian dining concept that deserves more attention than it gets.

Traveler Beware

Posted by Deborah from Wisconsin on 8/16/06

This is the place to stay if you're looking for a convenient downtown location and you don't mind staying up all night due to inferior air-conditioning units. On a recent trip I was forced to ask for another room due to the noise the air-conditioning unit was making. The replacement room wasn't much better and when maintenance came up at 5am they confirmed that the units needed to be replaced. Don't expect management to address the issue. The manager on duty said her hands were tied because the room was already paid for.
