Fodor's Review:
The Maui Arts & Cultural Center is the hub of all high-brow arts and quality performances. Their events calendar features everything from rock to reggae to Hawaiian slack key, international dance and circus troupes, political and literary lectures, art films, cult classics -- you name it. Each Wednesday (and occasionally Friday) evening, the MACC (as it's locally known) hosts movie selections from the Maui Film Festival. The complex includes the 1,200-seat Castle Theater, a 4,000-seat amphitheater for large outdoor concerts, the 350-seat McCoy Theater for plays and recitals, and a courtyard café offering pre-show dining and drinks.
