Fodor's Review:
This affordable home-away-from-home sits in peaceful, rural Kula. At an elevation of 2,000 feet, the climate is pleasantly temperate. Guests stay in the entire upper floor of a tastefully decorated house with a private entrance, deck, and gardens. A commanding view of Haleakala stretches beyond the French doors. The hostess provides an "amenity basket," a very popular continental breakfast, advice on touring, and even beach towels or warm clothes for your crater trip.
