Olinda Country Cottages & Inn

Fodor's Review:
This restored Tudor home and adjacent cottages are so far up Olinda Road above Makawao you'll keep thinking you must have passed them. The Inn, which sits amid an 8 1/2-acre protea farm surrounded by forest and some wonderful hiking trails, has five accommodations: two upstairs bedrooms with private baths; the downstairs Pineapple Sweet; a romantic cottage, which looks like a dollhouse from the outside; and best of all, Hidden Cottage, which has a private hot tub. Bring warm clothes -- the mountain air can be chilly. Breakfast is served in the common living room.
