Fodor's Review:
If you want lots of nature and little distraction, this place is perfect. The two duplexes and three cottages overlook a natural spring-fed fish pond and the remains of a heiau (an ancient Hawaiian stone platform once used as a place of worship). A black-sand beach, surrounded by lush tropical forest is steps away. Accommodations are simple but clean with rustic bamboo furniture, full kitchens, large bathrooms, and private lanai. Don't be surprised to find a few ants or lizards; they come with all the scenery. A continental breakfast is served in the "lobby," a Polynesian-style, open-air hut. The roar of the ocean and the rustling of palm trees add a soothing backdrop to the stunning setting. Off Uakea Rd.
