$-$$$$, South Shore
Fodor's Review:
The Wailea Resort started out with three upscale condominium complexes named, appropriately, Ekahi, Elua, and Ekolu (One, Two, and Three). The individually owned units, managed by Destination Resorts Hawaii, represent some of the best values in this high-class neighborhood. All benefit from daily housekeeping, air-conditioning, high-speed Internet, free long distance, lush landscaping, and preferential play at the neighboring world-class golf courses and tennis courts. You're likely to find custom appliances and sleek furnishings befitting the million-dollar locale. The concierges here will stock your fridge with groceries -- even hard-to-find dietary items -- for a nominal fee. Ekolu, farthest from the water, is the most affordable, and benefits from a hillside view; Ekahi is a large V-shape property focusing on Keawakapu Beach; Elua has 24-hour security and overlooks Ulua Beach.
